For the last couple of days we have had the opportunity to find some wonderful sandy beaches. Beaches that are largely deserted and literally go on for miles and miles.
They are fantastic expanses of sand they are great places to go for a walk. When the sun is out and with nobody around it is peaceful and quiet.
It’s a joy to listen to the sound of the waves breaking on the seashore, seeing the white horses. Hearing the gentle crashing of the sea against the rocks.
Fudge absolutely loves the beach. When he smells the sea air he is desperate to get on to the beach. He will drag us to the beach. He loves chasing his ball on the beach and going for a swim. He could do it all day long.
Being able to spend time walking along a vast expanse of beach is really good. You can be easily lost in thought, thinking about the past, the present or the future.
Looking at the patterns in the sand. Looking at the footprints in the sand and wonder who left them.
Or you can just take in the beauty of the seashore and the sea.
