Having a beautiful, mindful moment on the beach before starting the day.
Today was potentially going to be a difficult day with collecting and sorting out my father’s property at the care home and then seeing the funeral directors in the afternoon to discuss the funeral arrangements.
With such a lovely morning, with the sun just above the horizon, where better to have a mindful start to the day than standing on the beach at Alum Chine, Bournemouth. The sky was clear, you could see Old Harry in the distance and you could just about see the Isle of Wight through the sea mist. The waves were very gently rolling onto the sand seashore, people walking their dogs and there was a certain peacefulness and tranquility.
Being there for 15-20 minutes was enough to set me up for the day, the day itself went extremely well which is a positive.
Over the last few days Alum Chine has been our go to place and it has helped a great deal.
